CAIRO – 8 October 2020: Egypt's ambassador to Kuwait, Tareq Qoni extended his sincere congratulations to Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, for becoming the new Kuwaiti Crown Prince.
 
In an official statement, the ambassador wished the new crown prince success and good health and wellness towards achieving more security, stability and prosperity.
 
Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah took oath on Thursday before Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
 
Sheikh Nawaf wished the crown prince best of luck and success in his new duties.
 
The Amir, while receiving the crown prince at Seif Palace to take constitutional oath before him, expressed "great confidence" in Sheikh Mishal to continue the service of the nation and achieve its interest, the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA reported.
 
Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah attended the oath-taking event alongside Head of Diwan of Crown Prince Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Amiri Diwan Undersecretary and Director of His Highness the Amir's Office Ahmad Al-Fahad and head of Amiri Protocols Sheikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.
