Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah dies aged 91

CAIRO – 29 September 2020: Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has died Tuesday at 91 years old.

Kuwaiti TV began airing Quranic prayers, and many unconfirmed reports have been circulated on social media earlier Tuesday on the death of the emir. 

Last July, the head of the Emir’s office announced that the Kuwaiti Emir had successfully undergone surgery.
