CAIRO – 30 July 2020: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly assured that the government will apply heightened measures during Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) to prevent any increase in the number of infections with COVID-19 that happened in other countries.

Madbouly said in a press conference Wednesday that measures are similar to those taken during Eid al-Fitr, including continuing to close public beaches and parks.

He further called on all citizens to continue wearing medical masks.

“We have to continue to wear masks because it is very important, and represents a huge protection from the virus, to fix the infection figures and decrease it in the coming period,” he added.
