VIENNA, June 16 (MENA) - The Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced further relaxation of the COVID19-related travel restrictions as of Tuesday, describing the move as a big step towards a new travel normality.

After it became possible to enter Austria from seven neighbouring countries without any health regulations from 4 June, facilitation of travel with other European countries is now allowed.

As of today, measures such as COVID19 tests or quarantine on entry into Austria are no longer necessary for a total of 31 countries in Europe, including Italy, Croatia and Greece.

Exceptions are Portugal, Sweden, Spain and the United Kingdom, for which a negative COVID19 test or a 14-day home quarantine on entry into Austria will still be required.
