CAIRO - 11 June 2020: The Kuwaiti civil aviation authority announced on Thursday that 3,682 Egyptians stranded in Kuwait left the country on their way back to their homeland via 21 flights.

They are from Sohag, Cairo, Alexandria and Assiut, MENA quoted the Kuwaiti aviation authority as saying in a press statement.

The airline companies ferrying them home are Al Masria Universal Airlines, FlyEgypt airlines, Air Cairo, Kuwaiti Airways and Jazeera Airways of Kuwait, the statement said.

In a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Wednesday, Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli has reviewed all regulatory measures taken by the government within the framework of the current “coexistence” plan amid the coronavirus crisis.

He also reviewed efforts to bring back Egyptians stranded abroad, as the state has repatriated around 30,000 citizens so far.
