CAIRO – 25 June 2017: Nine Egyptian fuel trucks have arrived at the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing, sources told Egypt Today Saturday.

The trucks were handed over to the Palestinian administration to feed the Gaza Power Plant and five more fuel trucks are still on the way.

Thirteen trucks arrived in Gaza Friday with about 700,000 liters of fuel.

Rafah crossing is usually opened per the Egyptian authorities’ permission so aid and people stuck on one side can cross to the other.

Last May, Egyptian authorities decided to open the Rafah border crossing in one direction with the Gaza strip for three consecutive days.
