RIYADH - 21 June 2017: King Salman bin Abdel Aziz issued a royal decree on reimbursing all bonuses and financial perks to civil and military servants that were suspended or amended in September, Al Arabiya Al Hadath news channel reported.

Earlier Wednesday, the king issued another royal decree relieving crown prince Mohamed bin Nayef from the posts of crown prince, deputy prime minister and minister of interior.

According to the decree, Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdel Aziz has been named as the kingdom's crown prince and the deputy prime minister with keeping the post of the defense minister.

The monarch called for claiming allegiance to Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdel Aziz after Tarawih night prayers at Safa Palace in Mecca.

Bin Salman, 31, was picked by the majority of 31 of the royal family's key members out of 34.
