Air quality affected by sand-laden wind in Egypt

CAIRO - 5 April 2020: Air quality will be affected by the dust-filled southern wind that hit large parts of Greater Cairo, the Environment Ministry said on Sunday based on a report by the Meteorological Authority (EMA).

According to the report, the temperature in Cairo is expected to increase by six degrees Celsius to reach 35 degrees, while Alexandria will see a high of 31 and a low of 19.

The ministry urged elderly people and those suffering from respiratory problems to stay indoors.
