CAIRO - 9 February 2020: Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs Nabila Makram contacts with the Egyptian embassy and consulate in Saudi Arabia to follow up the developments of the arrest of three Egyptians in the Kingdom.

An Egyptian man, his wife and their two young boys quarreled with a Saudi security man after performing Umra rituals. The man and his two young sons were arrested and kept in custody.

According to a statement released by the Immigration Ministry, the ministry is following up investigations into the matter, reported that it received many contacts offering help in this regard.

The minister reiterated full respect of Saudi justice, lauding the kingdom's care of the Egyptian community.

Commenting on the return of Egyptian fishermen from Yemen, the minister said that the Egyptian citizen abroad always feels that their country will stand by them if attacked abroad.
