EL TOR, Feb 3 (MENA) - South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda received on Monday a number of ambassadors, deputy ambassadors and defense attaches and political advisors of a number of countries participating in the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) in Sharm El Sheikh on the fringe of their visit to the city of peace.

The governor hosted a banquet for the guests in one of the tourist resorts in their honor. They included MFO Commander Major General Evan Williams, a number of representatives of the defense ministry along with security officials from the governorate.

The governor welcomed the guests and wished them a happy stay in Egypt and presented a number of gifts to them. He also exchanged shields with the MFO commander who thanked the governor for his warm hospitality and asserted the delegation's wish to pay another visit to Sharm El Sheikh.

The foreign visitors paid a visit to the heavenly Cathedral in Sharm El Sheikh and El Sahaba Mosque in Sharm's Old market.

The delegation members, on their part, praised the safety and security of the Red Sea resort.
