KUWAIT CITY - 24 January 2020: Kuwait's Foreign Ministry on Friday summoned Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammad Irani, where he met with Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al Jarallah, KUNA news agency reported.

During the meeting, Al-Jarallah denounced the repeated remarks by the commander of the Air Force satellite in the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, in which he stated that Ali Al-Salem's base in Kuwait participated, among other bases in the region, in the operation that was conducted near Baghdad airport recently

Al-Jarallah expressed Kuwait's resentment at repeating such statements, stressing that Kuwait has categorically denied the participation of any aircraft launched from Ali Al-Salem base.

Al-Jarallah urged the Iranian ambassador to clarify to the officials in Iran the reality of the aforementioned Kuwaiti position.
