CAIRO – 14 December 2019: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected on Saturday construction progress of the King Salman International University’s branch in Sharm Al-Sheikh.

A statement by Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady on Saturday said President Sisi was briefed on the total facilities of the university branch located on an area of about 35 acres, including four colleges, namely languages, tourism, architecture, arts, and design, along with a number of administrative, sports, service and residential buildings.

It is worth noting that King Salman International University started its establishment process in July 2017 and is scheduled to end in March 2020.

The university is distributed over three branches in South Sinai Governorate in the cities of El-Tor, Sharm El-Sheikh and Ras Sidr, and includes in its first phase a total of 10 colleges.

It is also decided to add another five colleges in the future, including a college for medicine, along with a university hospital, which will be established within the main university branch campus in El-Tor city.
