CAIRO – 16 June 2017: Bahrain's ambassador to London Sheikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa has accused Qatar of having ties with terrorists linked with Manchester attack, which killed 22 people and injured more than 100 others in May.

“Qatar’s backing of Al-Qaeda-related groups in Libya and Syria has plunged both conflicts into deeper chaos, while contributing to the worsening spillover of migrants and refugees,” Al-Khalifa told Telegraph on Thursday, adding “I am especially concerned by reports of a connection between the Manchester bomber and Qatari-backed factions in Libya.”

The Islamic State (IS) terrorist group has claimed responsibility for Manchester attack; Salman Abedi was named by the UK police the suicide bomber.

In the past few weeks, several Arab countries announced cutting off diplomatic ties with Qatar over its alleged support of terrorism.
