CAIRO – 13 June 2017: The Northern African country of Eritrea supports the Arab nations’ move to sever relations with Qatar,

according to a statement

by the Eritrean Information Ministry.

“The decision that Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have taken is not confined to Qatar alone – as the potential of Qatar is very limited. It is one initiative among many in the right direction that envisages full realization of regional security and stability," the statement added.

In an aim to crackdown on extremism, Saudi Arabia mustered a coalition with its closed allies of Egypt, Bahrain and United Arab Emirati to break off diplomatic ties with Qatar over Terrorism support and choosing sides with Iran.
