CAIRO - 2 Aug 2019: The border guard forces seized 18 bombs, 46 projectiles and 20 mortar rounds over the past month along the border line in North Sinai.

The forces also discovered and destroyed two tunnel openings in the same area.

The move was taken in cooperation between the border guard forces and military engineers.

The forces also confiscated 300 kilograms of urea that is used for making explosives, 1,855 kilograms of hashish (cannabis) and 392,000 pills of narcotics in the past month.

The campaigns also resulted in seizing 2,486 kilograms of bango and six kilograms of heroin during the same period.

Meanwhile, the border guard forces thwarted an illegal migration attempt for 431 people of different nationalities. All legal measures have been taken.
