CAIRO – 26 May 2019: Muslim League will start on Monday a conference in the Saudi city of Mecca under the title “Moderation values in the Quran and Sunnah”, in which the league will announce a historical document certified by 80 Islamic scholars from all over the world.

The conference that lasts for four days from Monday till Thursday will include more than 80 scholars and public figures such as the president of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. The Saudi Kingdom and the other Muslim scholars will review their moderate opinion regarding violence and targeting innocent societies by using hatred.

The conference will be held under the auspices of the Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz, however, the Emir of Mecca, Khaled Faisal, will inaugurate the first session on behalf of King Salman. The conference witnesses 16 events and sessions to be held for 20 hours, more than 80 participants will give a speech.

The opening session will have the president of Chechnya, Kadyrov, Egyptian Mufti Shawki Allam, Lebanese Mufti Abdellatif Darian, and the Emirati Mufti Sheikh Abdullah bin Beeh giving speeches.

From Egypt, the minister of Religious endowments Mohammed Mokhtar Gomaa will participate in the sessions that discuss the means of spreading moderation that was recently adopted by the Saudi kingdom.

The second session held on Tuesday will discuss the moderation of prophet Mohammed, while the third session will cover the topic of moderation between modernism and originality. The third session will witness a brainstorming among scholars to find how to spread moderation in the Islamic world.
