RIYADH/ NEW YORK - 2 May 2019: The Muslim World League (MWL) announced on Thursday donating an estimated $1 million for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to reduce the suffering of displaced persons resulting from wars and climatic conditions.

Secretary General of the MWL Mohammad Abdulkarim Al-Issa stressed the importance of the responsible leadership to achieve goals, stressing that the league participates with the UN in implementing a number of development projects, targeting for raising living standards of indigent persons worldwide.

At the conclusion of the conference, Al-Issa expressed hope that all sides cooperate to spread the culture of peace and tolerance.
