KUWAIT CITY, April 29 (MENA) - The Kuwait public prosecution issued an order to remand in custody a person who assaulted an Egyptian doctor while on duty at a hospital in Al Ahmadi Governorate and released his son on a 100-dinar bail.

The son of the assailant entered the hospital with his brother and treated the doctor in a provocative way and then he called his father who came and hit the doctor, who was busy treating patients.

The Kuwait Medical Association on Sunday denounced the incident describing it as a gross attack on a member of the medical profession and vowed to take all the legal measures necessary to preserve the right of the Egyptian doctor.
