CAIRO – 7 June 2017: Relatives of the Qatari ruling family left Egypt on Tuesday, 24 hours after diplomatic relations between Egypt and Qatar were officially severed.

The relatives of the Qatari royal family, including head of household Hassan bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, departed the country on board a Kuwaiti Airlines flight travelling to Kuwait City before flying to Doha as there was no direct Cairo-Doha flight available, resources inside the Cairo International Airport confirmed today.
