3rd phase of medical screening campaign to begin March 1

CAIRO - 13 February 2019: The third phase of “100 Million Healthy Lives” campaign will begin on March 1 until April 30 in seven governorates to determine the prevalence of Hepatitis C and chronic diseases infection, and provide free treatment.

The third phase governorates are New Valley, Giza, Gharbeya, Daqahleya, Sharqeya, Minya, and Qena.

The first and second phases screened almost 29 million Egyptians in the rest of Egypt’s 27 governorates.

Screening reveals 732, 732 hepatitis C patients in Egypt

CAIRO - 15 December 2018: On the sidelines of the inauguration of housing projects and water plants on Saturday by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed displayed the results of screening for hepatitis C and chronic diseases.
