CAIRO - 21 May 2017: Speaking at the Arab-Islamic-American Summit Sunday, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi started by conveying the greetings of Egypt and its people to the attendees.

He asserted that the summit reflects an eagerness to renovate the partnership between the Islamic world and America, and eliminate the illusions of a conflict of civilizations.

“Those who talk about a conflict of civilization cannot understand the real meaning of culture diversity.”

Combating terrorism is a comprehensive approach, which goes beyond the military perspective, and must include a political and developmental approach, Sisi said.

He asserted that Egypt is in a daily fight against terrorist organizations in Sinai, which is a part of a global war against terrorism.
