CAIRO – 25 June 2018: The parliament's Arab affairs committee, headed by Saad Al Jamal, called on the international community to offer aid to the Yemeni people through the port of Al Hudaydah and other available crossings and to condemn repeated violations by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias in Yemen.

In a press release, the committee praised the Egyptian role in preserving Yemen's unity and called on countries in the region not interfere in Yemen's internal affairs.

The committee noted that the Yemeni forces made advancements, especially following the liberation of Al Hudaydah international airport.
