CAIRO - 17 May 2017: The movement of trains in Upper Egypt has resumed on the two lines in Badrashin, Giza, after measures were taken to lift up a derailed freight train, according to the Egyptian National Railways statement Wednesday.

The authority immediately provided winches and other equipment to the scene to help lift up the train, the statement added.

No causalities or injuries ensued from the accident.

Meanwhile, Head of the Badrashin police station was notified that three wagons of a freight train coming from Tibeen neighborhood and heading to Cairo derailed and turned over, resulting in a temporary halt in the train movement.
