CAIRO - 11 May 2017: The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation decided to extend working hours during the holy month of Ramadan, to become 21 hours instead of 20, according to a statement by Head of the Merto Company Ali Fadaly.

The metro working hours start at 5:15 a.m. until 2:15 a.m., to execute maintenance works during the three-hour stop, starting the beginning of Ramadan until Eid al-Fitr.

Metro drivers are instructed to stop in stations long enough for the passengers to get on and off the trains, announced Fadaly.
