CAIRO - 27 April 2018: President Abdel Fatah al Sisi will attend on Sunday a ceremony that is set to be organized by the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) on the occasion of Labor Day.

Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said on Friday that president Sisi will honor a number of great unionists who have influenced the unionist action and served labor issues.

During the ceremony, Sisi will deliver a speech to the Egyptian laborers who are a cornerstone of Egypt's production.

Head of ETUF Gebali al Maraghi will dedicate the union's shield to Sisi to assert laborers' support to the president.

The ceremony will be attended by Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb and Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese along with ministers and ambassadors.
