ANKARA - 18 December 2017: Turkey is shocked by the veto of a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for the U.S. declaration of Jerusalem as Israel's capital to be withdrawn, the Turkish foreign ministry said in a statement on Monday.

It said the U.S. decision to veto the resolution, which was supported by the 14 other members, showed once again that Washington had "lost objectivity" and it was unacceptable for the Security Council to be left "ineffective" with such a move.
