French Pres. Macron calls Sisi to offer condoles

CAIRO – 24 November 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi received a phone call Friday from his French counterpart, Emanuel Macron, who expressed France's sincere condolences over the terror attack on Rawda Mosque in Arish.

The official spokesman for the presidency, Bassam Radi, said that the French president affirmed his country's full solidarity with Egypt, pointing out France's keenness to intensify cooperation with Egypt to combat terrorism.

On Friday, a group of 15 armed terrorists broke into Rawdah Mosque in Arish City, killing at least 235 and injuring 125 others.
