CAIRO - 24 November: The Egyptian Air Force conducted a number of strikes targeting terrorist hideouts in mountain areas near the Arish attack scene that occurred Friday, according to security sources.

The air raids came as a quick response to the deadly attack that killed more than 235 people and injured about 125 others while they were performing the Friday prayer in the Al-Rawda mosque.

A number of terrorists stormed Al-Rawdah mosque in west Arish City. Eyewitnesses said that the terrorists set fire to cars that belonged to residents and blocked the road in Al-Rawdah Village.

The Ministry of Health earlier confirmed that those injured were transported to Bir al-Abed hospital in North Sinai. The mosque suffered damages as a result of the bomb.
