CAIRO – 22 November 2017: Saudi authorities extended its “A Nation Without Violators” campaign to six months, allowing illegal Egyptian expats to submit themselves to Saudi authorities to terminate departure procedures, according to the Ministry of Manpower.

Minister of Manpower Mohammed Saffan received a report from the Egyptian embassy in Saudi Arabia warning illegal Egyptians to submit themselves voluntarily to end final exit visa procedures and leave Saudi Arabia as soon as possible to remain exempt from fines and the “deportee” fingerprint system.

The campaign, launched in March, focuses on tracking infiltrators of residence, work and border security systems.Saudi passport authorities confirmed that violators who have not ended the procedures will pay fees, be imprisoned and banned from entering Saudi Arabia. Saffan advises Egyptians to not violate Saudi regulations, exempting them from fines and the “deportee” fingerprint system.

Within the comprehensive national campaign to control illegal expats and those violating residency, labor and border security systems, the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Investment launched the Comprehensive National Campaign, "A Nation Without Violators".

The campaign will carry out inspections of commercial establishments in different parts of the kingdom and verify the regularity of the commercial institutions. All Saudi parties participating in the campaign will impose penalties on commercial establishments employing illegal expats and those violating the residence, labor and border security systems, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.
