CAIRO - 15 November 2017: Egyptian Ambassador to Norway Mahy Abdel Latif on Tuesday organized a cultural day at the embassy’s headquarters in Oslo.

The event, attended by diplomats from Arab and foreign embassies in Oslo in addition to members of the Egyptian community, comes as part of a series of cultural exhibitions held under the rubric of “Tahya Misr” (long live Egypt).

The revenues of these events are allotted to the Long Live Egypt Fund.

The first cultural day included displaying a collection of products and handicrafts made of metal, wood, stones, and furnishings, which reflect the diversity of the Egyptian heritage and culture, Abdel Latif said in a statement.

It also involved a promotion of Egypt’s different types of tourism, including historical, cultural and medicine ones, she added.

The event has provided a perfect opportunity to exchange views with the attendees on the great progress that Cairo has achieved in various fields, especially in the area of mega projects, she asserted.
