RIYADH - 5 November 2017: The deputy governor of Saudi Arabia's southern Asir province, Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and several colleagues were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday, Saudi state TV Ekhbariya reported.

Twitter users shared a footage claimed to be of the late prince before getting aboard on the helicopter, where he was surrounded by his men, following inspecting number of projects at Asir province.


Local newspaper Okaz reported the helicopter went down while the officials were taking a tour of an area near the coast in Asir, which borders Yemen.

The reports did not elaborate on the cause of the crash.
