CAIRO - 4 November 2017: Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal lauded the efficiency and bravery of the Armed Forces and police troops who carried out the heroic operation of liberating Captain Mohamed el Hayes, who was taken hostage by terrorists involved in Giza's Wahat clashes in October.
Abdel Aal made the remarks on Saturday while visiting El Hayes at hospital.
Abdel Aal voiced deep appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices made by the Armed Forces and policemen to eradicate evil powers and defend their nation and its stability.
Last Wednesday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi accompanied by Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar visited freed police officer el Hayes.
On Tuesday, the Armed Forces said Hayes was carried to a military hospital after his rescue.
