Egypt army releases video of al-Qawadis terrorist attack

CAIRO – 16 October 2017: Army spokesperson Tamer al-Refai posted on his official Facebook page a footage video for the operation that took place Sunday, which foiled a terrorist attack attempt targeting al-Qawadis checkpoint in North Sinai.




In a statement, Refai explained how the Armed Forces foiled the terrorist attack targeting al-Qawadis checkpoint. The attack resulted in 24 militants’ death and the injury of one. Also, two four-by-four vehicles belonging to the terrorists were destroyed.

The Ministry of Endowment and the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt strongly condemned the terrorist attack in statements issued earlier Monday.
