Military spokesman: Dangerous Takfiri element arrested in central Sinai

CAIRO - 8 October 2017: A very dangerous Takfiri element was arrested over attempting to destroy equipment of a company carrying out development works in central Sinai.

In a statement on Sunday, Military Spokesman Tamer Refai said the arrest falls within the framework of the Armed Forces' non-stop efforts to combat terrorists and criminals.

He noted that an amount of narcotics was seized in a bus that was searched while passing Ahmed Hamdi tunnel.
