Egyptian mufti congratulates Saudi Arabia on National Day

CAIRO – 23 September 2017: Egypt's Mufti Dr Shawqi Allam has congratulated Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz on the Kingdom's 87th National Day.

In a statement Saturday, Allam hailed as "deep" relations between the Egyptian and Saudi peoples.

Cairo and Riyadh are coordinating efforts to uproot terrorism, Allam said.

He greatly appreciated efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia to serve pilgrims visiting the holy lands every year.
