CAIRO – 10 September 2017: Saudi authorities arrested a Yemeni after a video released on Facebook showed him boasting while battering an Egyptian in Saudi Arabia, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared on Sunday.

The Consulate General of Egypt in Riyadh had asked Saudi authorities to arrest the Yemeni after a video was released on Facebook of him assaulting an Egyptian working for him, said the Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad Khaled Youssri Rizk.

The Yemeni individual in question is currently under investigation by the authorities in Najran, Saudi Arabia, for his reasons to assault. He works as a vegetable seller, Rizk added.
