King of Spain joins Barcelona march against terrorism

BARCELONA - 27 August 2017: Hundreds of thousands of people in Barcelona have marched against terrorism that left 15 people dead in and around the city last week, the BBC reported Saturday.

King Felipe VI led the demonstrators, alongside Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

The king is the first Spanish sovereign to take part in a demonstration since the monarchy was re-established in the 1970s.
