CAIRO – 18 August 2017: An Egyptian woman is reported to be amongst those injured in the Barcelona ramming terrorist attack that resulted in the killing of 15 up now.

Egyptian Foreign Ministry offered condolences to the families of the victims of the attack that happened when a van ploughed into crowds in Barcelona city. Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.

The accident is counted to be the sixth terrorist attack that was pulled off by the same scenario in 2017, latest of which occurred on August 9, 2017 in the western Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret, where French soldiers were hit and injured by a vehicle. Six soldiers were hurt, four of them lightly and two more seriously, Reuters reported. The suspect was shot and arrested on a motorway in northern France later that day.
