Chad president praises Sisi’s leading role in Africa

CAIRO – 17 August 2017: Aiming to achieve peace in Libya, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and his Chadian counterpart Idriss Deby Itno expressed their desire for all parties in Libya to participate in achieving the peace.

During the bilateral talks, the President of Chad praised the leading role of President Sisi in solving crises in Africa and the Middle East.

Sisi’s current African tour is part of Egypt’s opening up to the African continent, and its quest to strengthen its relationship with African countries, in various fields, especially in economy and trade as the Egypt’s foreign policy gives African crises high priority.
