CAIRO - 16 Aug 2017: The current African tour of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will help open new scopes of cooperation and increase trade exchange between Egypt and the African continent, said a number of leaderships and members representing several Egyptian parties on Wednesday.

Sisi began on Monday a four-day African tour that includes Tanzania, Rwanda, Gabon and Chad.

The partisan officials represent the Conference Party, National Movement, the Conservative Party, the Democratic Generation Party or Hizb El Geel, El Ghad Party and the National Council for the Affairs of the Egyptian tribes

In press statements, the officials said the tour reflects a strong comeback of the Egyptian role on the African arena that will bring more gains to Egypt either in the political, economic or security domains.

Egypt's trade with Tanzania, Rwanda, Chad and Gabon hit 73 million dollars in 2016, including 69-million-dollar Egyptian exports.
