Sisi decision on new Suez Canal key step towards development

President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi’s decision to dig the new Suez Canal was an important step towards development, Culture Minister Helmy Al Namnam asserted on Tuesday.

During a celebration held at Cairo Opera House to mark the second anniversary of the new Suez Canal’s inauguration, el Namnam said the new canal, dug in one year, is regarded as a great achievement for the Egyptian people.
