CAIRO – 24 July 2026: Egypt has strongly condemned recent Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, describing them as a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability in violation of international law and the UN Charter.

Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, expressing complete support for all measures taken by the three nations to safeguard their security, protect their sovereignty, and preserve their territorial integrity. Cairo reiterated its categorical rejection of attacks targeting civilian facilities and vital infrastructure, as well as any actions that endanger civilian safety or destabilize the broader region.

Furthermore, Egypt stressed the imperative of respecting state sovereignty and the principles of good neighborliness, urging an immediate end to the use or threat of force. It called for a prompt cessation of all attacks and escalatory measures, emphasizing the critical role of the UN Security Council in fulfilling its responsibilities to maintain international peace, protect regional stability, and spare the region's populations from further tension and conflict.
