Egypt delivers food, medical aid to Gaza in 238th Zad al-Izza Convoy

CAIRO - 20 July 2026: The Egyptian Red Crescent launched its 238th "Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza" convoy Monday, including a number of trucks towards the Gaza Strip.

 

This initiative is part of the Red Crescent's role as a national mechanism for coordinating aid to the Strip.

 

The convoy included tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, including food baskets, flour, medical and relief supplies, medicines, and petroleum products necessary for operating hospitals and vital facilities in the Strip.

 

The Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained a presence on the border since the beginning of the crisis.

 

The Rafah crossing has remained open from the Egyptian side, and the organization has continued its preparedness at all logistical centers, working tirelessly to deliver over one million tons of humanitarian and relief aid, thanks to the efforts of more than 75,000 volunteers.
