CAIRO – 10 July 2026: Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdelatty, held separate telephone calls on Friday with his regional counterparts: Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan; Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait; and Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain.
The discussions focused on the latest developments regarding the recent Iranian attacks targeting Arab nations, ensuring the safety of regional citizens, and reviewing the strategic measures taken to address the repercussions of these strikes.
During the calls, Minister Abdelatty affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with the targeted nations, categorically rejecting any aggression that compromises their security, sovereignty, or domestic stability. He stressed that Egypt stands firmly alongside them, fully backing all measures taken to protect their borders and national security.
Furthermore, Abdelatty emphasized the close fraternal ties and shared destiny linking the nations, reiterating that the security of Arab Gulf states and Jordan remains an integral part of Egypt's own national security.
