Egypt's PM attends ceremony to install reactor pressure vessel for El Dabaa plant's second unit

CAIRO – 9 July 2026: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly arrived at the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant on Thursday to attend a ceremony marking the installation of the reactor pressure vessel for the facility's second unit.

The ceremony is taking place at the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant in the Mediterranean city of El Dabaa, a major milestone in the construction of Egypt's first nuclear power station.
