CAIRO – 29 June 2026: Egypt has expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following a helicopter crash in Ras Tanura region that claimed a number of lives.
Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom in the wake of this tragic incident, extending its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the Kingdom and its people continued security and peace.
The Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday that 14 Saudi nationals were killed when a helicopter belonging to Saudi Aramco crashed in the Ras Tanura region in the Kingdom's Eastern Province.
The agency added that all those on board the helicopter were killed in the crash.
