CAIRO - 20 June 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) revealed that the latest satellite images indicate hot weather across most of the country on Saturday, with particularly high temperatures expected in Upper and Lower Egypt and South Sinai.

The Meteorological Authority urged citizens to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

The Authority noted that the high temperature in Cairo is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius Saturday, and high humidity levels will exacerbate the feeling of heat.

Windy conditions are also expected at times across most of the country, potentially causing sandstorms and dust storms in parts of South Sinai and the Red Sea Governorate at intervals.
