CAIRO – 11 June 2026: The Egyptian-Turkish joint air training exercise has begun in Egypt, with the participation of a number of multi-role fighter aircraft of various types, the army spokesman said on Thursday.
The drills will continue over several days at a number of air bases across the country, according to the spokesman.

The first phase of the exercise included a series of theoretical lectures aimed at unifying combat concepts and exchanging training expertise among participating personnel.
Training sorties on operational missions were also conducted to coordinate efforts and enhance interoperability between both sides.
The training aims to refine the skills of participating forces and achieve the highest levels of efficiency and readiness to carry out joint air operations effectively under various conditions.
