Mediators in Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey emphasize need to expedite Gaza reconstruction

CAIRO – 9 June 2026: Sources told Al Qahera News channel on Tuesday that Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey have agreed on the importance of breaking the current deadlock in the Gaza negotiations in order to implement all the outcomes of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Conference and President Trump's plan.

The sources also revealed that Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey are closely monitoring developments in the ongoing round of negotiations aimed at reaching an agreement on the second phase of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

According to another breaking news report, the sources stressed that mediators from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey emphasized the need to accelerate early recovery and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

The sources further explained that the mediators emphasized the importance of proceeding with the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza to strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people and support their continued presence on their land.

The sources added that the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed during meetings with Palestinian factions in Cairo the importance of concerted efforts to complete the implementation of the Sharm El-Sheikh conference outcomes.

Al Qahera News also reported that the head of Turkish intelligence, Ibrahim Kalin, emphasized during meetings with Palestinian factions in Cairo the importance of building on the progress achieved thus far.
