President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi joined senior state officials, Al-Azhar’s Grand Imam, and top military leaders for Eid Al-Adha prayers at Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Mosque.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi performed Eid Al-Adha prayers on Friday at Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Mosque in the New Capital alongside senior state officials and top military leaders.
The prayers were attended by Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, as well as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense Ashraf Salem Zaher, Chief of Staff Ahmed Khalifa, and senior commanders of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
The Eid prayers were held in the presence of senior religious, state, and military figures as Egypt marked Eid Al-Adha nationwide.
Osama Al-Azhari led the Eid prayer and delivered the Eid sermon before worshippers gathered at the mosque.
President El-Sisi had arrived at the mosque earlier accompanied by a number of senior officials and state figures to participate in Eid Al-Adha celebrations.
The official celebrations come as Egypt marks Eid Al-Adha with nationwide festivities and public gatherings, reflecting the state’s commitment to sharing the holiday atmosphere with citizens across the country.
The Eid prayer at Al-Rahman Al-Rahim Mosque formed part of Egypt’s official Eid Al-Adha celebrations, bringing together religious, state, and military leaders in the New Administrative Capital.
